Want to know what goes into creating world-changing teenagers?

At TKS we call these students unicorns → individuals who will go on to impact hundreds of millions of people. As a new Associate Director for the virtual program, I have two motives for writing about my experiences. One is a matter of documentation and reflection, this is going to be a year of rapid growth and learning for me and this will act as a forcing function for me.

The second is to give you a behind-the-scenes look at the program in case you want to learn on your own, shape your own students, or are just curious! Through my conversations with prospective students, their parents, and others in my network, it's clear that there is an air of mystery around the program and what really goes into it.

If you've ever wondered what actually goes on inside TKS, that's where I come in. I'm going to be your tour guide into what it takes to unlock the potential of the hundreds of teens going through the program this year.

Who am I?

I spent the last 10 years working in the digital product space. I built apps for organizations like Clorox and the UN as an iOS developer. I lead the Product & Strategy teams at Versett and helped build digital companies around the world in the fintech, travel, and e-commerce spaces. Now I'm spending my energy on unlocking high potential students looking to change the world.
